Mattia Destro has claimed that he sees his loan move to AC Milan as the perfect opportunity to prove his qualities once again.
Despite being linked with moves to the Premier League in recent weeks, Destro left Roma on Friday to join their Serie A rivals for the remainder of the season, and he is confident of finding his best form at San Siro after being forced to play a supporting role for much of the campaign.
"I have already spoken to Filippo Inzaghi, there is a strong drive to do well and to prove that Milan is a great team, starting from this Sunday," the forward told Milan News.
"I can't wait to get on to the pitch and play. As for my role, the coach will decide. I have a great desire to impress.
"This is a great opportunity for me, I can't wait to play and get to know everyone."
Destro could make his debut against Parma on Sunday.
