The buildup to the summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Arsenal eye possible reinforcements.
The Gunners spent more than many expected during the summer - most notably their club-record purchase of Nicolas Pepe - but were more reserved in January as they focused on bolstering their defensive options.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Emirates Stadium.
Friday morning's Arsenal transfer talk news roundup:
Liverpool 'weighing up summer move for Aissa Mandi'
Liverpool are reportedly considering a summer move for Real Betis defender Aissa Mandi.
The Reds are expected to be in the market for a new centre-back ahead of the 2020-21 campaign as Dejan Lovren is likely to leave this summer in search of pastures new.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Mandi has emerged as a target for the Premier League champions, with the 28-year-old expected to leave Betis in the upcoming transfer window.
The Algeria international's contract in Seville is due to expire next summer, and the report claims that it would be a 'miracle' if the defender penned a new deal.
Mandi has spent the last four years with Betis, making 141 appearances in all competitions, including 30 outings during the 2019-20 campaign.
Arsenal have previously been credited with an interest in the former Reims youngster.
Arsenal 'optimistic of signing Chelsea forward Willian'
Arsenal are reportedly optimistic about their chances of signing Chelsea forward Willian at the end of the season.
The Brazil international is set to leave Stamford Bridge following a breakdown in talks over a new deal.
Willian is out of contract this summer and is holding out for a three-year extension, which Chelsea are unwilling to offer him.
However, the 31-year-old revealed earlier this week that remaining with the Blues, where he has spent the past seven years, is his preferred option.
Despite Willian's comments, ESPN Brasil reporter Bruno Vicari claims that Arsenal are still confident they will have the former Shakhtar Donetsk player in their squad come the end of the summer.
Tottenham Hotspur are also believed to be monitoring Willian's situation, with the Brazilian making clear his desire to stay in London.
