Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is adamant that his side must finish their objective of Champions League football by beating Newcastle United on Sunday.

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey feels that he and his teammates have put themselves in a commanding position for Champions League qualification following their win over Wigan Athletic.

A brace from Lukas Podolski along with strikes from Ramsey himself and Theo Walcott moved the Gunners one point clear of rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the top four with just one game to play.

Ramsey told Sky Sports News: "We got the early goal and then we sort of panicked a bit. They showed what good form they have been in of late when they got a goal back.

"In the end, we did the job, we got the win and it's the perfect way to finish the season here. We have one game left to finish off to get that Champions League place."

Arsene Wenger's side travel to Newcastle United on the final day of the season, knowing that a win will guarantee them Champions League football in the next campaign.
