Arsenal could revive their supporters' hopes by defeating Sunderland in the FA Cup fifth round at the Stadium of Light.

Arsenal will attempt to renew their supporters' hopes with a win over Premier League opponents Sunderland in the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday.

The Gunners stumbled to a 4-0 defeat to AC Milan in midweek, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain dropped to the bench.

Despite Arsene Wenger's snub, the winger is likely to start at the Stadium of Light in a bid to provide service to striker Robin van Persie.

Gunners full-backs Kieran Gibbs and Bacaray Sagna could be included in the first XI with Mikel Arteta and Aaron Ramsey holding the formation in midfield.

Meanwhile, Martin O'Neill could choose Connor Wickham to lead the line for the Black Cats, with Stephane Sessegnon sitting just behind the striker.

Current form:

Sunderland: WLWWWL
Arsenal: LLDWWL

Possible lineups:

Sunderland: Mignolet; Bardsley, O'Shea, Turner, Richardson; Larsson, Gardner, Colback, McClean; Sessegnon, Wickham

Arsenal: Sczcesny; Sagna, Vermaelen, Djourou, Gibbs; Arteta, Song, Ramsey; Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Van Persie

Sports Mole says: 1-1
