Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla rubbishes reports of injury setback

Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla rejects reports that he has suffered an injury setback.

Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has rejected reports that he has suffered an injury setback and could miss the rest of the season.

The Spaniard has not played since the end of November because of a knee ligament injury.

Manager Arsene Wenger told reporters this week that his player's scheduled April return may be delayed because of a separate Achilles problem.

However, Cazorla has taken to Twitter to tell supporters that there have been no setbacks in his recovery.

The midfielder tweeted: "Surprised by the piece of news appeared in press, deadlines are going as planned. I will be ready on 1st April. #workinghard."

Meanwhile, Arsenal are preparing for tonight's match against Swansea City at the Emirates.
