Carl Jenkinson has thanked the Arsenal medical team after his return to action with the club's reserves this week.
Jenkinson, who hasn't appeared for the first team since the beginning of November, returns from the sidelines after a three-month absence. However, the fullback admits that he couldn't have done it without the medical staff.
"It is fantastic to be back," he told the club's official website. "It has been really hard coming in and doing my rehab stuff, but I am delighted to be back.
"The medical team have been fantastic, keeping me motivated and making sure I am doing the right things. I have got a lot to thank them for in terms of getting me back to where I am now, so I am grateful to them.
"Three and a half months is a long time, so it has been hard work. You just have to focus on the future and be positive, so that is what I am going to do."
The 20-year-old played 45 minutes for the reserves on Tuesday night.
