Michael Owen backs Swansea City to draw with Arsenal

Michael Owen backs Swansea City "to avoid defeat" against Arsenal in their Premier League clash at the Liberty Stadium.

Michael Owen believes that Swansea City will earn a draw in their Premier League clash with Arsenal at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon.

The Swans currently lie seventh in the table, just two points behind fifth-placed Arsenal, and Owen has backed Garry Monk's side to gain a point against the Gunners.

The 34-year-old wrote on his Betvictor.com column: "This is Swansea's best start to a PL season and I expect them to avoid defeat against the Gunners' who must still be wondering how they let a three-goal lead slip against Anderlecht midweek.

"Arsenal's four PL wins so far this season have all been against sides currently in the bottom six and I think they will have to settle for a draw at the Liberty."

The game, which kicks off at 4pm, will be covered live on Sports Mole.
