Defender Kieran Tierney has suggested that he expects to improve his performances during his first season at Arsenal.
While the summer arrival from Celtic has needed to remain patient due to injury, the full-back is now ready to feature in the Premier League after a number of outings in cup competitions.
Tierney has received praise for his contributions in those matches, although the Scotland international intends to build on his early outings.
The 22-year-old told BT Sport: "When you come [to a new side] you don't want to be injured, but everyone has been magic with me. The manager, the coaches and the other players.
"I've came a long way, I'm delighted to be back fit but I've still got a way to come. I'm developing as player and as a person."
Tierney could make his first start in England's top flight when the Gunners face Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
