Arsene Wenger: This "bad spell" will not kill Arsenal's Premier League title bid

Arsene Wenger says that it is too early to suggest that Arsenal's "bad spell" will cost them in the Premier League title race.

Arsene Wenger has admitted that Arsenal are experiencing a "bad spell" but stressed that it has not cost them in the Premier League title race.

Sunday's 1-1 draw at Norwich City ensured that the Gunners won just two points from a possible nine in November.

Nevertheless, Wenger's men stay fourth in the table, two points behind leaders Manchester City, and the Frenchman is adamant that all is not lost.

"We have to go through that spell. We've had a bad spell of three games where we took only two points, but we're still not far and that's alright," he told reporters.

"It's not enough, but we have an opportunity to come back."

A testing afternoon was made worse by the fact that injury-ravaged Arsenal lost two more players in the form of Laurent Koscielny and Alexis Sanchez, who both limped off.

Mesut Ozil fired the North Londoners ahead at Carrow Road, but Lewis Grabban equalised shortly before half time.
