Arsene Wenger undecided over Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud for Chelsea trip

Arsene Wenger says that he will make a late decision over whether he starts Theo Walcott or Olivier Giroud in Arsenal's trip to Chelsea.

Arsene Wenger has insisted that he does not yet know if he will select Theo Walcott or Olivier Giroud to spearhead Arsenal's attack in Saturday's trip to Chelsea.

The England forward, who has netted four goals in his last three games for club and country, led the line and scored in last weekend's 2-0 win over Stoke City.

However, Giroud, who replaced Walcott that day, netted the second goal to wrap up the points, and Wenger admits that he is faced with a dilemma ahead of the visit to Stamford Bridge.

"At the moment I must say that is a decision I still have to make tomorrow morning," he told the club's official website. "I try to use the best solution that gives us the most efficiency offensively.

"Every game is different and that is why I don't deny at all the quality of Walcott. I am very happy that he scored so many goals in so many starts."

With 12 goals conceded, Chelsea, who have endured their worst start to a Premier League campaign for 29 years, have shipped more goals than anybody in the division so far.
