Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh could be on his way back to Bordeaux on loan.

Arsenal are ready to let Marouane Chamakh leave the club, according to The Mirror.

The Moroccan striker, who has struggled to secure a regular place in the Arsenal team, could make a return to former club Bordeaux.

The French side are ready to take the 27-year-old on loan in January.

Chamakh, who has made just four league appearances this season, has managed to score two goals in his last 32 appearances for Arsenal.

Manager Arsene Wenger has previously said that he is reluctant to allow Chamakh, who is currently recovering from a knee injury, to leave.

However, Park Chu-Young appears to have moved ahead of Chamakh in the pecking order at the Emirates.

Furthermore, Arsenal have been linked with a move for Lille striker Eden Hazard.
