Arsenal are allegedly preparing a bid for Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi.
The Gunners are planning to make a firm offer for the Argentine when the transfer window reopens in January, reports Tuttosport.
Icardi is a long-term target of Arsenal, with manager Arsene Wenger lodging an unsuccessful £32m bid for the player last summer.
The 22-year-old has scored 35 times in 69 appearances for Inter since joining the club from Sampdoria in 2013.
He made his senior debut for Argentina that same year, but has earned only one cap to date.
