Arsenal 'will accept £4m loss' on Lucas Perez

Arsenal will reportedly allow striker Lucas Perez to leave the Emirates after just one season at a loss of £4m.

Arsenal have reportedly put a price tag of £13m on Lucas Perez as the Spanish striker prepares to leave the Emirates this summer.

The 28-year-old joined the Gunners from Deportivo La Coruna in a £17m, four-year deal last August but barely featured for Arsene Wenger's side, making just two starts in the Premier League all season.

That lack of playing time has prompted Perez to request a transfer away this summer, with a return to La Liga thought to be his preferred option.

According to The Independent, Arsenal are happy to allow Perez to depart but have set a minimum fee of £13m - a figure that is unlikely to be met by his former club Deportivo.

Sevilla, Valencia, Villarreal and Real Sociedad have all expressed an interest, while in recent days Everton have been linked with a bid as they look to replace the outgoing Romelu Lukaku.

The newspaper claims that Arsenal will also contemplate letting Perez leave on loan, but only if it includes a clause to make the deal permanent.
