Mesut Ozil has reportedly become a 'different player' in Arsenal training under new manager Mikel Arteta.
The German was linked with leaving the club under former boss Unai Emery, who did not view the former as part of his first-choice starting XI.
However, since the arrival of Arteta, Ozil has started all three games under the new regime and his performances have improved.
According to ESPN, the arrival of the Spaniard has served as a rejuvenating influence on Ozil, with sources claiming that he is now the 'best player' in training.
Arteta has talked up Ozil's importance to the team and reportedly held crunch talks with the playmaker, along with four other senior players, about ensuring that he set the standards in training soon after assuming the managerial post in North London.
