Spain's all-time leading scorer David Villa has officially joined MLS outfit New York City.
The 32-year-old, who won La Liga with Atletico Madrid last season, will represent his country in the World Cup this summer, but has taken time away from the camp to pen a long-term deal with the American side.
New York City's official Twitter account has recently posted a picture of their first official signing since becoming a professional club.
