Antoine Griezmann has admitted to finding the first few months at Barcelona a "difficult" experience.
The Frenchman completed a move to Camp Nou from Atletico Madrid over the summer for a fee of £108m.
Having managed only four goals from his opening 15 games, Griezmann has come under pressure for his failure to link up with Lionel Messi so far this term.
Speaking to Marca about his time in Catalonia earlier this week, Griezmann said: "I am still learning a lot, and I knew that coming to Barcelona would be difficult.
"If I play centrally, then I feel more balanced. I have played up front in that position for many years, and now I must adapt."
Reports suggest that some members of the Barcelona hierarchy fear that Griezmann could turn out to become another Philippe Coutinho.
It has also been claimed that Messi, a powerful voice in the dressing room, wanted Barcelona to bring about a return for Neymar as opposed to signing Griezmann.
