Luis Suarez has called on Barcelona teammate Ousmane Dembele to show more professionalism at Camp Nou.
Dembele has scored six times in 15 appearances for Barcelona this season and 10 times in 38 appearances in total since making the move to the Spanish giants in the summer of 2017.
The 21-year-old's discipline has been called into question on a number of occasions this season, however, with Dembele said to have missed team meetings and been late to training in recent weeks.
Suarez has insisted that Dembele "deserves" to be at Barcelona but wants his teammate to 'focus on his football'.
"Being a footballer is a privilege but it also brings responsibilities," Suarez told reporters. "Ousmane needs to focus only on the game and his career, there are examples of professionalism all across the dressing room at the club.
"He needs to start taking more responsibilities but the truth is that he deserves to be at this club and we all must support him. He has settled in well, has forged good relationships and he is a happy person."
Arsenal are said to be lining up a January move for Dembele, while Liverpool have also been credited with an interest in the Frenchman.
