Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has insisted that the race for the La Liga title is still very much open.
Barca have made a stunning start to the 2017-18 campaign - winning 10 of their 11 matches to sit top of the pile.
Ernesto Valverde's side are currently eight points clear of current champions Real Madrid - who sit third behind Valencia - but Ter Stegen has claimed that "it will be a tight race until the end".
"It will be a tight race until the end. It's the Spanish league and we can't allow any slip-ups. We need to be fully focused," ESPN quotes Ter Stegen as saying.
"We hope we can keep the distance between us and Real and hopefully, shortly before Christmas in an important match, we can extend our lead."
Ter Stegen has only conceded four times in his 11 league appearances for Barcelona this season.
