Barcelona will reportedly launch a fresh bid to sign Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz in the next transfer window.
Ruiz, who came through the ranks at Real Betis, has become an indispensable player under Carlo Ancelotti, making 40 appearances in all competitions last season.
The Catalan side had the chance to sign the 23-year-old on three separate occasions - the first of which being in 2017, when Ruiz was at Elche and available for just £5.3m.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Ruiz's excellent form at Napoli has prompted Barcelona to launch a fresh attempt to sign the Spaniard, who is now valued at £53.7m.
Barcelona spent big on reinforcing its midfield over the summer, landing Frenkie De Jong from Ajax for a fee of £67.5m.
The La Liga champions, however, were unsuccessful in their pursuit of Neymar, with Paris Saint-Germain unwilling to lower their £200m valuation of the player.
