Antoine Griezmann reportedly tells Atletico Madrid that he wishes to remain at the La Liga outfit next season.

Antoine Griezmann has reportedly decided to remain at Atletico Madrid for at least another 12 months.

Last summer, Griezmann was expected to join Manchester United before opting to stay at the La Liga giants but throughout this season, the French international has been frequently linked with Barcelona.

However, according to Marca, Griezmann has made the decision to spend another 12 months at Wanda Metropolitano rather than make the switch to Camp Nou.

Griezmann allegedly has a release clause of £89m in his contract, but the playmaker is said to be prepared to resist any lucrative offers which come his way.

During the current campaign, Griezmann has scored 29 goals for Atletico in all competitions.
