Lionel Messi has ruled out the prospect of leaving Barcelona at the end of the 2019-20 campaign.
The Argentine, now in his sixth year at the club, has a lifetime contract that enables him to leave for free at the end of any given season.
Messi was recently awarded with his sixth Ballon d'Or, beating closest competitor Virgil van Dijk to the honour and becoming the only player in history to win the accolade on so many occasions.
Speaking about his future at Camp Nou, Messi told Mundo Deportivo: "What I feel for this club goes beyond any signature, any contract or any piece of paper."
Since breaking through Barcelona's La Masia academy in 2004, Messi has scored 614 goals for the club and is viewed by many as the greatest footballer to ever play the game.
