Report: West Ham United want Alen Halilovic on loan

A report claims that West Ham United want to sign Barcelona midfielder Alen Halilovic on loan this summer.

West Ham United are reportedly pressing ahead with a loan move for Barcelona midfielder Alen Halilovic.

The 19-year-old joined Barca from Dinamo Zagreb in 2014, but spent last season with Barcelona B in a bid to gain experience of Spanish Football.

The Croatian international travelled with Barca to the United States for their pre-season tour this summer, and impressed during the second half of their 2-2 draw with Chelsea on Tuesday.

However, with first-team football next season expected to be limited, The Express claims that West Ham are preparing a loan offer.

New Hammers boss Slaven Bilic handed Halilovic his international debut in 2013 and is believed to share a close relationship with the teenager, who has also been linked with a move to Sevilla.
