Preview: FC Koln vs. Bayern Munich

Sports Mole looks ahead to the Bundesliga clash between defending champions Bayern Munich and FC Koln.

Bayern Munich will take an undefeated record into their Bundesliga clash with FC Koln this weekend.

The German champions thrashed SC Paderborn 4-0 to return to the top of the table earlier this week, leaving them with three wins from their opening five matches of the season.

Franck Ribery's availability for the clash is in doubt after he missed their outing earlier in the week with a knee injury that he sustained earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Koln are without a win or a goal in their last three outings in Germany's top flight, leaving them ninth in the table.

The team suffered their first defeat of the season in their last match, losing 1-0 to Hannover on Wednesday.

The side have reported no new injuries following that defeat, although Peter Stoger may make changes in a bid to end his side's goal drought.
