Birmingham City goalkeeper Boaz Myhill has said that the current competition in the Championship is stronger than in the past.
The Blues shot-stopper, who won promotion to the Premier League with Hull in 2008, insists that the league has become even more competitive with the increasing number of stars arriving from the Premier League.
"I certainly think the league is stronger than the last time I played in it," he said.
"There are a lot of players coming from the Premier League, and they're spread out throughout the division. It is so ridiculously tight at the top.
"We just need to make sure that we're doing as well as we can in training and get three points."
Birmingham host Cardiff City this afternoon as both sides go in search of a playoff spot.
