The Football Association has opened an investigation into claims that Blackburn Rovers striker Rudy Gestede was racially abused by Middlesbrough fans on Saturday.
Gestede swiped home a controversial 95th-minute equaliser at the Riverside and was seemingly upset at the final whistle moments later because of something that came from a section of Boro fans.
He reportedly appeared to mimic a gesture to his teammates before leaving the field of play.
According to Sky Sports News, the incident was included in referee Mark Clattenburg's post-match report and both clubs have now been contacted by the FA over the matter.
