Following his side's 4-1 win over Middlesbrough last night, Blackpool manager Ian Holloway expresses his delight at the depth within his current squad.

Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has said that he felt "goosebumps" during his side's 4-1 win over Middlesbrough last night.

Holloway made six changes to the team that drew 1-1 with Barnsley on Saturday, electing to play on-loan Aston Villa striker Nathan Delfouneso in attack alongside Thomas Ince and Gary Taylor-Fletcher.

Delfouneso marked his Tangerines debut by hitting the net twice, while Ince was also on the scoresheet.

"I have to learn to be ruthless and just pick people, which is very difficult to do," Holloway said. "The lads realise there's a lot of competition, but what we've got to do is keep going and going.

"I made six changes and the freshness showed. To be able to bring off Incey, who was playing superb and bring [Matt] Phillips on, there was goosebumps on my neck.

"Angel Martinez [Cervera], [Ludovic] Sylvestre, didn't play tonight. It's how they take that though. I'm absolutely delighted, it's as well as we've played."

Blackpool are currently second in the Championship table, one point behind leaders Blackburn Rovers.
