Ipswich Town manager Paul Jewell was left disappointed by his side's failure to hold on to a two-goal lead against Blackpool.

Ipswich Town manager Paul Jewell has confessed that he was left feeling "really sick" by his side's 2-2 draw with Blackpool this afternoon.

The Tractor Boys held a two-goal lead at Portman Road, only for strikes from Elliot Grandin and Kevin Phillips help Blackpool secure a share of the spoils.

"I'm really sick we haven't won the match," Jewell told reporters after the match. "We were the best team right up to when they scored, but when they did score the doubts set in.

"In the end we could have lost it, or we could have won it.

"At the moment, we just can't quite get over the line but you can't question the players' effort."

Ipswich are currently 19th in the Championship League table.
