Report: Borussia Dortmund want Shkodran Mustafi

A report claims that Borussia Dortmund want to sign Valencia centre-back Shkodran Mustafi.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly interested in signing Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi at the end of the season.

The German has been one of Los Che's standout performers this term and has thrived alongside Nicolas Otamendi at the heart of the defence.

While the 22-year-old is said to be happy in Spain, it is thought that the chance to ply his trade in the Bundesliga does appeal to the youngster.

According to Super Deporte, Dortmund see Mustafi as a direct replacement for Mats Hummels, who is widely expected to depart the German outfit this summer.

Mustafi, who moved to the Mestalla from Sampdoria last summer, is currently contracted to Valencia until 2019.
