West Bromwich Albion have reportedly agreed a fee with Championship rivals Brentford for midfielder Romaine Sawyers.
Celtic were also believed to be interested in the St Kitts and Nevis international, who now appears set to stay in the Championship.
According to Sky Sports News, the two clubs have agreed a fee in the region of £3m for the 27-year-old and a medical is expected to be carried out today.
Sawyers has made more than 130 appearances for the Bees since joining the London club on a free transfer from Walsall in July 2016 and was appointed club captain last season.
A deal for the midfielder would make him Slaven Bilic's fifth signing since becoming Baggies boss last month, following deals for Kenneth Zohore, Semi Ajayi, Darnell Furlong and Filip Krovinovic.
