Bristol City's Albert Adomah has been called up to the Ghana squad for the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations campaign.
The 24-year-old winger, who has been capped three times for his country, is the only player in the 26-man squad plying his trade in England.
Jordan Ayew, a striker with 10 international caps to his name, was a notable omission from the shortlist. However, his brother and Marseille teammate Andre did make the cut.
"I am disappointed but Marseille will gain from this, because they need me in January," Sky Sports News quotes Ayew as saying. "I wish Ghana good luck and hope my brother comes back to Marseille in February with a medal."
One four members of the entire Ghana squad play their football in the African country, with European-based players making up the bulk of it.
