Team News: Bristol City unchanged for Reading visit

Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill names an unchanged side for the visit of Reading in the Championship.

Bristol City boss Steve Cotterill has named an unchanged side for the visit of Reading in the Championship this afternoon.

Cotterill's side held Preston North End to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday evening, and the manager has stuck with the same XI that earned the point at Deepdale.

Frank Fielding continues in goal after his recent return from injury, while Aaron Wilbraham is named up top alongside Jonathan Kodjia.

Meanwhile, Garath McCleary makes his first start of the season for the visiting Royals, while Matej Vydra and Nick Blackman are named up top.

Sam Hector and Chris Gunter are selected in defence for Reading as they look to bounce back from their 1-0 reverse to Derby County last time out.

Bristol City: Fielding; Ayling, Moore, Flint, Williams; Bryan, K.Smith, Pack, Freeman; Wilbraham, Kodjia
Subs: Hamer, Little, Wagstaff, Reid, Robinson, Burns, Agard

Reading: Bond; Gunter, Obita, McShane, Hector; Norwood, Quinn, Williams, McCleary; Blackman, Vydra
Subs: Al-Habsi, Tshibola, Piazon, Hurtado, Cooper, Cox, John
