Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has admitted that Cardiff City chairman Vincent Tan will accept nothing less than securing promotion to the Premier League this season.
Cardiff start their campaign by visiting Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Friday night, and Solskjaer is fully aware of the pressure he is under to deliver success in the Championship.
"The aim and the goal is obviously promotion, I can't do anything but manage the club and do my best," the Norwegian told reporters. "Vincent owns the club, and I will have to make sure he does not have a question to ask at the end of the season.
"Vincent is as driven as ever. Disappointment hurts and he is one of those who is used to success, so let's start with a good performance and a good result."
Cardiff added to their squad again on Thursday as a deal to sign Tom Adeyemi from Birmingham City was confirmed.
