Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is well on track for a December return after taking part in training on Thursday afternoon.
The Belgium international damaged his knee during a training session in early September and has been sidelined since.
Courtois targeted a return to first-team action before the year was out following a successful operation, and he has now handed under-pressure boss Jose Mourinho a big fitness boost by returning to the club's Cobham training complex.
Asmir Begovic has featured 16 times for Chelsea this term in Courtois's absence, keeping five clean sheets in all.
