Petr Cech: 'Pressure is on Manchester City to catch Chelsea'

Petr Cech has claimed that it is time to see what Manchester City can do to catch Chelsea in the Premier League.

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has claimed that it is time to see what Manchester City can do in the Premier League run-in.

City are currently nine points behind Chelsea in the league with three games in hand but Cech believes that there has been too much talk about the table in recent weeks.

"Now City have to win their games in hand if they want to stay in touch with us," the Czech goalkeeper told reporters. "Let's see what they can do.

"I don't want to talk too much about the other teams, because we are in a position where we have to concentrate on ourselves.

"Keep winning and we will have a chance. A lot of people tend to watch the table too much."

Chelsea take on Aston Villa this Saturday, while City meet Hull City.
