Former England captain John Terry has been dropped from any current advertising campaigns by sports brand Umbro.
The defender was recently stripped of the armband due to his upcoming trial over making alleged racist remarks towards Queen Park Rangers' Anton Ferdinand during a match in October.
Umbro have confirmed that the 31-year-old will not feature in any advertisements while the result of the trial is pending.
"John is not involved in current Umbro campaigns and I can't comment on future campaigns and discuss which players are involved," said a spokesman.
"John remains an Umbro-sponsored player while the case is pending.
"It is true that we are seeking new players to promote our brand but we are constantly looking for footballing talent."
Terry's trial has been adjourned until Monday, July 9.
