Chelsea defender John Terry will not make himself available for England selection, according to reports.
It had earlier been reported that Terry was prepared to end his international exile ahead of the 2014 World Cup.
However, a source has told BBC Sport that the 32-year-old has not changed his decision to focus solely on his club career.
"John wants this straightened out," the source said. "He's still very much retired. There's been no change."
Terry has not played for England since winning his 78th cap against Moldova last year.
