Team News: Demba Ba, Juan Mata start for Chelsea against Aston Villa

Demba Ba is chosen to lead the Chelsea attack against Aston Villa in the Premier League this evening, with Juan Mata also returning for the Blues.

Jose Mourinho has chosen Demba Ba to lead the line for Chelsea against Aston Villa in the Premier League this evening.

The Senegalese frontman takes the place of Fernando Torres while Juan Mata comes in for Kevin de Bruyne in the two changes made from Sunday's win over Hull.

Despite his pre-season form, Romelu Lukaku remains on the bench for the home side.

Visiting Villa make one change to the side that shocked Arsenal at the weekend, with Ciaran Clark replacing the injured Nathan Baker.

Tonight's game is being played because of Chelsea's participation in the UEFA Super Cup next weekend.

Chelsea: Cech; Ivanovic, Terry, Cahill, Cole; Ramires, Lampard; Mata, Oscar, Hazard; Ba

Villa: Guzan; Lowton, Vlaar, Clark, Luna; El Ahmadi, Westwood, Delph; Agbonlahor, Weimann; Benteke
