Barcelona to move for Didier Drogba?

Barcelona are reportedly preparing a summer move for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.

The 34-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and is expected to leave the Blues with a host of offers currently on the table.

The Ivorian is understood to have attracted attention from the USA and China, but according to a Barcelona source, the Spanish outfit are firmly in the race.

"What the team needs is an attacking player who has the presence and strength to trouble defenders. Drogba has that profile and is one of the players the club are looking at," he told The Sun.

Drogba scored against Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final this season.
