Chelsea have reportedly held talks with the representatives of Bordeaux midfielder Malcom over a summer switch to Stamford Bridge.
The Brazil international has emerged as one of the brightest stars in Ligue 1 and his performances have seen him linked with a host of big clubs.
Malcom, who scored 12 goals and grabbed seven assists in 35 league appearances last season, is currently believed to be on Liverpool's radar, while Manchester United were credited with an interest in January.
According to French newspaper Sud-Ouest, however, Malcom's agent Fernando Garcia met with Chelsea bosses in London, with Bordeaux demanding a fee of €50m (£44m) for the 21-year-old's services.
Serie A giants Inter Milan are also believed to have shown interest in Malcom and held informal talks over a potential move to Italy.
