Chelsea 'powerless to prevent Eden Hazard exit'

Chelsea will be unable to stop Eden Hazard from joining Real Madrid this summer, according to a report.

Chelsea attacker Eden Hazard reportedly 'has his heart set' on a switch to Real Madrid this summer and the Blues will be unable to stop the Belgium international from moving to Spain.

Hazard, 28, will see his current deal with Chelsea expire at the end of the 2019-2020 campaign.

Madrid continue to be heavily linked with a move for the former Lille youngster as they prepare to spend big this summer following a disappointing season.

Chelsea will reportedly refuse to sell Hazard for anything less than £100m, but Madrid are said to be unwilling to match that price.

According to Goal.com, though, Hazard is ready to force a move to the Bernabeu this summer to complete what will be a 'dream' transfer for the Belgian.

Hazard has scored 19 times and contributed 12 assists in 42 appearances for his London club during the 2018-19 campaign.
