Premier League champions Chelsea are lining up a £30m move for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke, according to reports.
The Blues are expected to sign a new forward this summer in order to ease the burden on Diego Costa, and Benteke has been in fine form for Villa since Tim Sherwood took charge in February.
Goal.com reports that Villa will demand £30m for their most valuable asset, but manager Jose Mourinho is confident that the club can raise the cash and do the deal.
Benteke is expected to share the work load with Costa, as Chelsea target a strong European challenge next season.
The 24-year-old has scored 11 times in his last nine games.
