Crystal Palace have reportedly revived their interest in Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi after missing out on the loan signing of Dominic Solanke.
Eagles boss Roy Hodgson confirmed on Wednesday evening that the Eagles are on the lookout for a new striker following Solanke's collapsed move.
According to the Daily Mail, Batshuayi is among the alternatives being considered by Hodgson, with the Belgium international expected to return early from his underwhelming loan spell at Valencia.
Batshuayi has scored just one goal in 14 La Liga matches and is no longer a regular pick up top, but Palace are willing to take a punt as their desperate search for a new striker continues.
Fellow Chelsea ace Tammy Abraham, who has thrived during his latest spell in the Championship with Aston Villa, is another rumoured option.
