Roma chief executive Umberto Gandini has confirmed that the club are considering whether to accept an offer from Chelsea for forward Edin Dzeko.
Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte is keen to add another striker to his first-team squad before the end of the January transfer window and has identified Dzeko as a potential signing, despite the Blues hierarchy tending to be against signing players who are over 30.
Roma have previously indicated that they have not received any offers that have met their valuation of the Bosnia-Herzegovina international, but Gandini has hinted that the sale of the player remains a possibility.
Gandini told Sky Sport Italia: "There are offers, we are talking and evaluating, but it takes three parties to reach an agreement and at times also with those who are around the player."
Dzeko is continuing to represent Roma in Serie A, with the 31-year-old playing the full 90 minutes in the 1-0 defeat to Sampdoria at the weekend.
