Kepa Arrizabalaga's wages at Chelsea are reportedly currently blocking a move to Lazio.
The 27-year-old became the most expensive goalkeeper in world football when he joined the Blues from Athletic Bilbao in the summer of 2018, but he has largely struggled to make his mark as the club.
The Spain international is number two to Edouard Mendy at Stamford Bridge, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future over the last few weeks.
According to The Athletic, Lazio are keen to bring Kepa to Italy before the end of the month, but the Serie A outfit are finding it difficult to afford his substantial wage packet.
The report claims that the stopper earns in the region of £170,000 a week, and Maurizio Sarri's side cannot afford to cover his wages on a proposed loan.
Kepa has only made seven appearances for Chelsea during the 2021-22 campaign, while he has featured on just one occasion in the Premier League, playing against Tottenham Hotspur in the middle of September.
