Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Leandro Trossard has confirmed that he would be interested in linking up with his former boss Graham Potter at Chelsea.
After joining the Seagulls in the summer of 2019, Trossard became a regular fixture in Potter's side, including last season where he enjoyed success, scoring eight goals and providing three assists in 35 appearances.
While the Belgian has already registered two goals and two assists this term, Potter has departed the South coast to take over the reins at Chelsea.
According to the Metro, the Blues boss will have sizeable funds to spend in January, with Trossard believed to be a potential target.
Commenting on the rumours, the 27-year-old said: "Our coach has now left for Chelsea, but speculations about me following him are pointless.
"If the opportunity arises, I want to go. But I do want to play and not sit on the couch."
Trossard's current Brighton deal is set to expire next summer, but there is reportedly an option for his contract to be extended.
