Liverpool have reportedly decided to lodge an offer of £62m for Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
Since the start of 2018, Liverpool have been strongly linked with an approach for the Brazil international due to the inconsistent form of both Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet.
Karius has started pre-season between the sticks but according to the Liverpool Echo, the Merseyside giants have made their move in the race for the Roma stopper.
The report claims that Liverpool have made a bid of £62m, with £53m being offered up front and the rest being made up in add-ons.
Roma are said to want more than the alleged offer, but Liverpool remain confident that an agreement can be reached with the Italian giants over the coming weeks.
Real Madrid and Chelsea are also in the hunt for Alisson, who has just removed Roma from his Instagram bio.
