Manchester City are reportedly leading the chase to sign Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao.

Manchester City are leading the chase to land Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao, according to a report.

The Colombian is wanted by both City and Chelsea, but it is the Premier League champions who are in pole position to sign the forward at the end of the season, according to The Mirror.

Falcao has carved out a reputation as one of the finest strikers in Europe over the last few seasons and has 15 goals in La Liga this season for Diego Simeone's side.

It is thought that City could land the former Porto man for around £50m this summer.
