Chelsea are reportedly planning to put forward a £50m bid for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.
Despite the club selling Lukaku to the Merseyside club under Jose Mourinho's management in 2014, it is believed that the Blues would welcome the forward back to Stamford Bridge.
The Belgium international publicly admitted towards the end of last season that he would consider a move elsewhere, but after Ronald Koeman replaced Roberto Martinez as manager, and new majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri promised to invest heavily, there are suggestions that he may stay put.
Nevertheless, Chelsea will try to tempt Everton into selling with a £50m offer after Antonio Conte's attempts to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata were knocked back, according to the Liverpool Echo.
It is believed that the Toffees have slapped a £65m price tag on Lukaku, who has not yet joined up with the squad for pre-season training following his participation at Euro 2016.
