Report: Chelsea have not made contact with Javier Hernandez

Chelsea have reportedly not made contact with Bayer Leverkusen over striker Javier Hernandez, despite reports suggesting otherwise.

Chelsea have reportedly not made an approach for Bayer Leverkusen striker Javier Hernandez, despite reports that the Premier League champions are interested in the former Manchester United star.

The Blues have struggled this season having won just three of their Premier League games, recording two draws and suffering seven defeats.

There have been rumours that Chelsea are considering a move for the Mexican international, but according to ESPN, the English club have not made any contact.

Hernandez, who signed for Leverkusen from United in August, has scored nine goals since the start of October.
