Crystal Palace boss Dougie Freedman hails Kagisho Dikgacoi's "fantastic" goal after it earns a 1-0 win at Charlton Athletic.

Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman has hailed Kagisho Dikgacoi's "fantastic" goal after it earned a 1-0 win at Charlton Athletic on Friday night.

The South African hit a superb volley past Ben Hamer minutes into the second half to seal the three points for the Eagles at the Valley.

"It was a fantastic goal," Freedman told Sky Sports News. "He was playing against Brazil at the weekend and he said he'd picked up a few tips, it was a great strike."

The win has lifted Palace up to 14th in the Championship table.
